Smith Design is an independent creative studio based in Hove, East Sussex, near Brighton, working across graphic design, illustration, prop making, and fine art.
The studio brings together digital and physical work — from branding and print to EVA foam props and contemporary painting — with a focus on clarity, craftsmanship, and long-term creative development.
Smith Design is the parent studio of two connected practices:
Smith Art — original abstract and geometric paintings for exhibition and collection.
Prop Smith — EVA foam props, fantasy artefacts, and character pieces for hire, as well as exhibition support using works from Smith Art.
All work sits within a single creative ecosystem, where projects are developed with care rather than at high volume.
